As a community member, Elm Ridge Manufacturing is committed to growing and strengthening the community in which we operate through supporting local non-profit organizations such as schools, community theaters and charitable organizations. By giving back, we are able to ensure the interest and passion of the next generation in activities which encourage the growth of character and positive moral values.

Bill has been an active member of the Willow Creek Railroad club for many years. In addition to making spare parts occasionally, Bill operates a model SW-7 locomotive and is in the process of building and restoring several others. Over the summer, we sponsored a gondola car (attached picture) for the annual Antique Powerland Steam-Up.

Brush Creek Playhouse

The Brush Creek Players bring local actors to the community stage by providing an all volunteer staff, a donation-only funded playhouse and an exceptional set of original works. President
Andrew Getz and vice president Benjamin Ark are among the handful of dedicated individuals who make the dreams of aspiring young actors and actresses a reality.

Mid Valley Christian Academy

William and ClaraLee Esther, owners and founders of Elm Ridge Manufacturing, are both very personally involved with the community in the Monmouth/Independence area. Through their church, they have been able to connect with and make a difference in the lives of many of their neighbors. One way which Bill and ClaraLee continue to show support is by partnering with Mid Valley Christian Academy. By doing so, they can help Mid Valley achieve its mission of educating students in a manner consistent with the Christian faith.

According to Mid Valley's web site: "Our practice will be to present biblical support for the various views on a subject, then encourage the students to interact with parents and churches to form their own beliefs."

Although Elm Ridge does not endorse a particular worldview, we do support and encourage personal growth in whatever belief a person chooses to align themselves. We believe that growth in knowledge should take a leading role in every person's path through life.
